Cultural learning for migrants:

I design and run educational programmes for migrants using drama and other arts-based methods to support cultural understanding, self-expression,

and social participation.

 

What I do:

 

I work at the intersection of education, culture,

and creative practice, helping people make sense of new cultural environments, build confidence, and find ways to engage in their local communities.

 

Programmes include:

• cultural learning programmes and workshops
• ESOL-drama programmes
• community and social learning activities

 

My approach:

 

Culture shapes how people perceive, feel, think, and act. I treat cultural and language learning as lived and practised, developed through experience, interaction, and shared reflection..

 

Learners explore culture through:

- simulation and role-play

- storytelling and narrative work

- group reflection and meaning-making

- creative activities

 

 

Programmes can be adapted to local contexts and delivered in partnership with host organisations.
